Pastor Bruns asked a couple of Tomoka UMC members to share their faith stories in worship today. The following testimonies were given by Nancy Lewis (begins at 0:00), and Jim McAdams (begins approximately 8:42).
Thanks Nancy and Jim, for sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with us all!

Sermon 6 in the Frequently Asked Questions series, by Dr. Steven D. Bruns.
The question of evil and how we think about it and deal with it has been one of the most frequent questions asked through the ages. While God did not create evil, it does exist and we have to wrestle with it daily. Ultimately, why it exists really can’t be explained sufficiently, because it just doesn’t make sense.
The good news is, God is able to defeat evil, in all its various incarnations. We need to depend on God for ultimate victory over evil.

Sermon 5 in the Frequently Asked Questions series, by Dr. Steven D. Bruns.
With some things it’s easy to know what God’s will is—you can read about them in the Bible: Do not steal; Do not murder; etc.
But what about things that are not specifically mentioned in scripture? Should I become a missionary? Should I go into business for myself? Should I take the treatment my doctors are offering, or not? Which school should I go to? Who should I marry?
Listen to Pastor Steve’s answer in this podcast!
