The annual Bazaar will take place on Saturday, November 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There are flyers in the narthex for anyone to pick up. Please use them to help publicize the event. Post them at work, your clubhouse, or places you patronize. Post them anywhere you think it would be useful. Or, you might pass a half page flyer on to a friend or neighbor.
We are looking for special items for the Silent Auction such as gift certificates to local businesses or nicer items for bidding. You can give these to Jim and Marilyn Knowles or drop them off at the Church office. Letters are available to give to businesses if you need them.
We will have an extensive jewelry table so please donate new or used items. Items can be dropped off at the office (labeled “Jewelry for Bazaar”) or given directly to Caren Draper.
Craft and White Elephant Items
Collection times are following the worship services on November 2, or Friday morning November 7 starting at 9:00 a.m. The White Elephant sale includes books, DVD’s, music, games, toys, tools, household items, and decorative items. No clothing, linens, or large furniture will be sold at the Bazaar. You may also call Linda Neely and schedule your items to be picked up. She can also collect your crafts ahead of time if you cannot bring them at the designated time.
Signup sheets will be in the narthex a few weeks prior to the Bazaar so you can help out with the event!
Friday, November 7, 9:00 a.m. to noon, and 6:00 p.m. until finished. A few strong backs for moving tables at these times would be great! After that, we will need lots of help setting up the craft section, silent auction, bake sale and white elephant section.
Bring bake sale items to church Friday, 6:00-8:00 p.m., or Saturday from 7:30-9:00 a.m.
We will sell indoor and outdoor plants. If you have donations, please bring them to Bleekman Hall on Friday.
8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. We have various stations that we need helpers for. Workers for the early shift should arrive between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m. to prepare for the event.
Help is needed with food preparation and serving the lunch!
Saturday, 2:30-4:00 p.m.
The Bazaar is lots of fun so please join in! We hope everyone in the congregation can help. Donate, bake, create, setup or clean up, and invite some friends and neighbors to come and check it out!
