Worship & Prayer

Tomoka United Methodist Church gathers weekly for worship, centered on Scripture, prayer, and meaningful community. In addition to Sunday worship, prayer is a vital part of our life together through pre-worship prayer, an active prayer chain, and regular group prayer opportunities. We believe prayer strengthens both individuals and the church as a whole.

Fellowship & Spiritual Growth

We offer opportunities for connection and growth through gatherings such as Dinner Church, small-group experiences, and seasonal programs. These settings encourage faith conversations, shared meals, and deeper relationships across generations. Leadership and discipleship training opportunities are also available to help members grow in service and ministry.

Community Outreach & Service

Serving others is central to who we are. Tomoka UMC supports local schools, prepares meals for the homeless, partners with community organizations, and responds to practical needs within the congregation and surrounding community. Through these efforts, we seek to be the hands and feet of Christ beyond our church walls.

Care & Compassion Ministries

We care for one another through ministries that support shut-ins, the sick, and homebound members, including meal support, transportation assistance, and sharing communion. A designated benevolence offering helps provide short-term financial assistance to those facing difficult circumstances. These ministries reflect our commitment to compassion and mutual care.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways to serve at Tomoka UMC, from worship roles such as ushering and greeting to behind-the-scenes support, events, and outreach projects. Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to participate according to their gifts and availability. Every act of service helps strengthen our church and community.

Tomoka UMC encourages faithful stewardship as part of spiritual life. Members and friends can support the church’s mission through traditional giving or convenient online and mobile options. Gifts support worship, ministries, outreach, facility care, and the ongoing work of the church.
